The Alvin A. Smith, Dora Mae Smith and Bettye Smith Dunbar Memorial Scholarship in Education is in honor of the Smiths and their lifetime commitment to education. The endowed scholarship will benefit College of Education students pursing degrees with an emphasis in math or educational administration.

Criteria:

• Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance
• Full-time enrollment unless nearing completion and does not need
• Full-time student in Teacher Education and Administration in any major with an emphasis on mathematics or educational administration
• Renewable – reapply meet guidelines
• If no applicant meets criteria -funds held until next academic year
