Project SUCCESS: Latino Family Literacy Project

The Latino Family Literacy Project provides proven, cost-effective parent involvement programs and training for teachers to provide meaningful programs for English Learners. The program engages the parents in reading with their children, reflects the experiences of Latino families, and is centered around universal themes.

Faculty members are invited to attend any of the sessions with Latino parents, Pk-2 Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD teachers and UNT ESL and bilingual Education candidates to witness biliteracy development processes for parents to establish a reading routine at home.

Faculty who are interested in attending can contact Dr. Rossana Boyd.
