Dr. Samantha (Sam) Dardaman is currently a clinical assistant professor serving in the Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion, and Recreation. With a PhD in Human Performance and Movement Sciences, she teaches undergraduate courses in strength and conditioning and mentors students of kinesiology.

Dr. Dardaman is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who currently serves on the Texas State Advisory Board of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and she has worked with a variety of athletes from youth to Olympic levels. Most experienced with football, soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball, and track & field, Sam is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential. She believes that the mind and body are inextricably linked, and that by training both, athletes can achieve greater success. 

Dr. Dardaman is a dedicated coach and she is committed to educating the next generation of coaches and helping athletes maximize their potential and optimizing their physical & mental skills.
