• Full-time undergraduate or graduate student
• Maintain full- time enrollment unless fewer than twice the number of hours required to be full-time remaining in degree program
• Major in Early Childhood through Grade 6; Grades 4-8; Principal Certification or Superintendent Certification that leads to a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education or Superintendent Certification unless no applicant possess these characteristics, then student enrolling full-time in the College of Education Teacher Education and Administration (or its successor) will be eligible for consideration
• A 3.0 for undergraduate; 3.5 for graduate cumulative GPA
• Recipients must have graduated from a Denton Independent School District High School
