• Full-time undergraduate or graduate student
• Maintain full-time enrollment unless fewer than twice the number of hours required to be full-time remaining in degree program
• Major in elementary education unless no applicant possess these characteristics, then student enrolling full-time in the College of Education  at the University will be eligible for consideration
• A 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Renewable Annually renewable if recipient reapplies and meets requirements
• Must plan to pursue a teaching career in elementary education
