Located on the University of North Texas campus in Denton, TX, the Office of Gifted and Talented Education was founded in 2016 to provide services for gifted and talented young people.

The mission and vision of the Office of Gifted and Talented Education is to serve and support gifted and talented children, their teachers, caretakers, and the larger gifted and talented professional community. To this end, the Office will provide academic student services, professional learning opportunities, community outreach, research, and psychological assessment services. Furthermore, the Office serves as an authority in the greater North Texas area in the fields of advanced ability, creativity, and gifted education at the regional, national, and international levels.
