The Ph.D. with a concentration in Human Development and Family Science engages students in the advanced study of individual growth and development across the lifespan as well as interpersonal interactions within the family context. Students develop marketable skills in applying developmental and family theories to research design, utilizing advanced research methods/statistical analyses, synthesizing research literature, and conducting research to inform practices in educational and practice settings.
