- Full-time undergraduate or graduate student
- Maintain full-time enrollment unless fewer than twice the number of hours required to be full-time remaining in degree program
- Major in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
- A 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Full-time student in the College of Education
- Undergraduate with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Graduate student with at least a 3.5 GPS
- Current junior or senior at UNT
- Complete at least 15 credit hours each semester
- Preference given to first-generation college students
- Preference given to students who attended the William T. and Margie L. Bryant Elementary School
- Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment, unless nearing completion of the degree program and do not need full-time enrollment
- Annually renewable if recipient reapplies and meets requirements
- Essay on interest in public education
- Major in Early Childhood – 6, Grades 4 – 8
- Graduate of any Denton Independent School District high school
- If no applicants meet this criteria, then applicants who are graduates of any other high school in Denton County will be eligible for consideration
- Preference will be given to first-generation college students
- Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment, unless nearing completion of the degree program and do not need full-time enrollment
