A few days before classes begin in the fall semester, first-year students arrive on campus for a week-long event called First Flight. During this week, students meet with fellow classmates in their dorms and attend various events on campus. One of those days is known "College Day" where students from each college come together to meet the faculty, staff, and other students in their college. This year, we had Scrappy as a special guest to take pictures with students and get them excited to be at UNT. Students went around and met with other students to fill out an icebreaker activity. The students then broke out into different locations based on their major to have other activities and meet faculty members from their department.
