A new series of stories is bringing the work of the Peace Corps to life as UNT faculty, staff and alumni who have served as volunteers share their experiences. Included are the Department of Chemistry’s Katie VanNatta, who was in Bulgaria (pictured above); the Department of Anthropology’s Dr. Doug Henry, who was in Sierra Leone; and alumna and former College of Applied and Collaborative Studies advisor Delaney Marusak, who is currently serving in Paraguay with her partner Lee, who also is a UNT alum.

The project was created by Zach Yeager, coordinator of UNT's Peace Corps Prep program and an alumn of the College of Education's MEd Higher Education Program, and it's serving as a model for other institutions.
