Dr. Darrell M. Hull is Professor of Research Methodology, Measurement, and Statistics
in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of North Texas. A Fulbright
Scholar to Jamaica in 2019, he has conducted program evaluations in developing nations
in the English-speaking Caribbean for more than 20 years. His substantive research
is in the area of Positive Youth Development and STEM education where he has directed
grant programs for more than 30 years. Methodologically, his research is in psychometrics,
latent variable modeling, and causal methods of investigation and analysis for field
trials. In 2024 Dr. Hull assumed Directorship of UNT's Office of Research Consulting,
and serves as the Executive Director of the Texas Research and Evaluation Network
for Development (TREND), an organization with the mission of connecting educational
researchers and practitioners in the DFW region.
