Professional Development Workshops

robotics coding and mathematics
Robotic Vehicles, Coding, and Mathematics Workshop

This workshop is designed to help educators master innovative technology tools for STEM instruction. Participants will learn how to program using Python on TI-Nspire™ graphing calculators and control the TI-Innovator™ Rover to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The focus is on building confidence with coding and robotics while leveraging your own mathematical expertise to make meaningful classroom connections. You’ll also explore practical examples of how robotics and coding can reinforce key math concepts, giving you strategies to inspire students and bring abstract ideas to life.

drone calculator controller
Drones, Coding, and Mathematics Workshop

This workshop is designed to help educators master innovative technology tools for STEM instruction. Participants will learn how to program using Python on TI-Nspire™ graphing calculators and control Robolink CoDrones to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The focus is on building confidence with coding and drone technology while leveraging your own mathematical expertise to make meaningful classroom connections. You’ll also explore practical examples of how coding and drone applications can reinforce key math concepts—giving you strategies to inspire students and bring abstract ideas to life.

ti calculator and innovator hub
Empowering STEM Learning with TI-Innovator™ Hub
This workshop is designed to help educators explore the power of the TI-Innovator™ Hub for bringing coding and engineering design into the classroom. Participants will learn how to connect TI graphing calculators with the Hub to create interactive, hands-on projects that spark creativity and problem-solving.

You’ll discover how to use the Hub’s built-in TI LaunchPad™ technology—used by engineers in real-world applications—to teach students the fundamentals of coding and design. Through guided activities, you’ll learn how to program and build working solutions using sensors, LEDs, and motors, giving students opportunities to innovate and apply STEM concepts in meaningful ways.

By the end of the session, you’ll have practical strategies and ready-to-use examples to inspire students and transform abstract ideas into tangible, real-world experiences.
ti calcular and cbr
Taking Data Collection to the Next Level with Motion Sensors
This workshop is designed to help educators transform motion into meaningful learning experiences using the TI CBR™ (Calculator-Based Ranger™) motion sensor and TI graphing calculators. Participants will learn how to collect, visualize, and analyze real-time motion data—eliminating tedious measurements and manual plotting. Through hands-on activities, you’ll discover how to connect these concepts to graphing, tables, and equations, making abstract ideas concrete and engaging.

By the end of the session, you’ll have practical strategies and ready-to-use examples for integrating data collection into lessons that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of motion, functions, and data analysis.
ti tempature probe
Taking Data Collection to the Next Level with Tempature Probes

This workshop is designed to help educators explore the power of temperature probes for bringing real‑world data collection and scientific inquiry into the classroom. Participants will learn how to connect TI graphing calculators with temperature sensors to create interactive, hands‑on investigations that spark curiosity and deepen scientific understanding.

By the end of the session, you’ll have practical strategies and ready‑to‑use examples that help students turn abstract scientific concepts into tangible, measurable experiences. You’ll leave equipped to inspire student engagement through authentic data collection and hands-on exploration.
