The Master of Science (MS) with a concentration in Learning Sciences (LS) provides students an opportunity to advance their understanding of how society and culture impact learning and develop their skills for designing innovative and transformative opportunities for learning. Students will gain a foundation in Educational Psychology including research methods, learning theory, and human development, with an emphasis in Learning Sciences. The MS concentration in LS allows students to continue to work full time in their current profession while completing their degree through 100% asynchronous online courses. This MS will enable graduates to further their careers anywhere knowledge of learning designs is needed, such as formal and informal learning spaces, professional learning spaces, and other organizational contexts. Ideal candidates for the MS are currently practicing teachers, curriculum specialists, museum educators, or other professionals with a focus on teaching and learning.
