Interim Dean of the College of Education
Dr. Angie D. Cartwright is the Interim Dean of the College of Education and Professor of Counseling at the University of North Texas (UNT). Since joining UNT in 2015, she has led several innovative, interdisciplinary research collaborations and made significant contributions to student success, including her service as Director of the undergraduate minor in Counseling. She has also held key leadership roles, including Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Success and Interim Department Chair of Teacher Education and Administration.

Interim Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs
As the Interim Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs, Dr. Keller advances the college’s graduate programs and supports faculty development. Dr. Keller is also a professor for the College of Public Affairs and Health Sciences in the Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation department. Dr. Keller is a professor with 35 years of service at UNT. She served as associate dean and dean of the College of Education for 15 years during a period of significant growth and development. Her long-term leadership allowed the College, with faculty leadership, to be recognized as a trailblazer in educator, counselor, and administrator preparation in Texas and the U.S.

Interim Associate Dean Research & Community Engagement
Serving as the Interim Associate Dean Research & Community Engagement, Dr. Taylor supports the college’s research initiatives, as well as fostering and creating engagment within the community . Her primary research interests include: advancement of Adlerian Play Therapy field towards evidence-based practice; counseling and educational services for high need children and families; and counselor development and supervision.

In her role as Senior Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs, Mrs. Phipps oversees undergraduate student experiences and academic programming, ensuring that our bachelor’s-level offerings are responsive, accessible, and aligned with the college’s mission.
