The mission of the DSA is to facilitate and promote the transition from graduate student to degreed professionals by providing opportunities for peer mentoring, professional growth, development, and advancement. The DSA will support the following goals:

• To provide DSA members access to information and knowledge about COE programs, professional development opportunities, and doctoral student responsibilities.
• To encourage doctoral students involvement and collaboration within the University of North Texas and other professional and research communities.
• To represent doctoral student interests to the University.
