Lauren Eutsler, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education and Administration at the University of North Texas, where she began in 2016. She earned her doctorate in 2016 from the University of Florida. Her research explores the integration of portable technology (e.g., iPad, virtual reality) to design and improve literacy instruction in EC-6 formal and informal learning contexts. Informed by extant research on technology integration models, disciplinary literacy, and literacy processes, she examines the attitudes and behaviors of families, preservice, and in-service teachers around the adoption, selection, and use of mobile technologies to support literacy instruction and learning. She teaches literacy courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
